The aim of this paper is to prove uniqueness theorems for the Darboux problem of neutral type in the space L∞ and L1.

Conditions are presented which ensure that an abstractly σ-complete Boolean algebra of projections on a (DF)-space or on an (LF)-space is necessarily equicontinuous and/or the range of a spectral measure. This is an extension, to a large and important class of locally convex spaces, of similar and well known results due to W. Bade (respectively, B. Walsh) in the setting of normed (respectively metrisable) spaces.

We give some inequalities of Cauchy-Bunyakovsky-Schwarz type for sequences of bounded linear operators in Hilbert spaces with applications.

In the context of synthetic differential geometry, we prove that group valued 1-forms on the unit interval are exact, provided the group in question is a Lie group. This exactness is the basic assumption in a previous paper by the author on differential forms with values in groups.

In this paper, We introduce and study a new system of variational inclusions involving(H, η)-monotone operators in Hilbert spaces. By using the resolvent operator method associated with (H, η)-monotone operators, we prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions and the convergence of some new three-step iterative algorithms for this system of variational inclusions and its special cases. The results in this paper extends and improves some results in the literature.

In this paper, we study the uniqueness of meromorphic functions concerning differential polynomials sharing nonzero finite values, and obtain some results which improve the results of Yang and Hua, Xu and Qiu, Fang and Hong, and Dyavanal, among others.

It is shown that if a partially-ordered topological space X admits a finite-point T2-ordered compactification, then it admits a countable T2-ordered compactification if and only if it admits n−point T2-ordered compactifications for all n beyond some integer m.

A convex body K in En containing no lattice points, has one-deimensional projections of lengths X1, X2, …, Xn on the coordinate axes. We show that for n ≥ 2 and 1 ≤ Xi ≤ n/(n−1) (1 ≤ i ≤ n),

and this bound can not be improved.

For a pythagorean field F with semiordering Q and associated preordering T, it is shown that the Witt ring WT (F) is isomorphic to the Witt ring W (K) whre K is a closure of F with respect to Q. For an arbitrary preordering T, it is shown how the covering number of T relates to the construction of WT (F).

Using potential theory, we prove the existence of filling disks of an algebroid function of finite order defined in the unit disk.
