We provide two constructions of Gaussian random holomorphic sections of a Hermitian holomorphic line bundle $(L,h_{L})$ on a Hermitian complex manifold $(X,\Theta )$, that are particularly interesting in the case where the space of $\mathcal {L}^2$-holomorphic sections $H^{0}_{(2)}(X,L)$ is infinite dimensional. We first provide a general construction of Gaussian random holomorphic sections of L, which, if $H^{0}_{(2)}(X,L)$ is infinite dimensional, are almost never $\mathcal {L}^2$-integrable on X. The second construction combines the abstract Wiener space theory with the Berezin–Toeplitz quantization and yields a Gaussian ensemble of random $\mathcal {L}^2$-holomorphic sections. Furthermore, we study their random zeros in the context of semiclassical limits, including their distributions, large deviation estimates, local fluctuations and hole probabilities.

We study the propagation of wave packets for a one-dimensional system of two coupled Schrödinger equations with a cubic nonlinearity, in the semiclassical limit. Couplings are induced by the nonlinearity and by the potential, whose eigenvalues present an avoided crossing: at one given point, the gap between them reduces as the semiclassical parameter becomes smaller. For data which are coherent states polarized along an eigenvector of the potential, we prove that when the wave function propagates through the avoided crossing point there are transitions between the eigenspaces at leading order. We analyze the nonlinear effects, which are noticeable away from the crossing point, but see that in a small time interval around this point the nonlinearity’s role is negligible at leading order, and the transition probabilities can be computed with the linear Landau–Zener formula.

We study numerically the semiclassical limit for the nonlinearSchrödinger equation thanks to a modification of the Madelungtransform due to Grenier. This approach allows for the presence ofvacuum. Even if the mesh size and the time step do not depend on the Planck constant, we recover the position and current densities in thesemiclassical limit, with a numerical rate of convergence inaccordance with the theoreticalresults, before shocks appear in the limiting Eulerequation. By using simple projections, the mass and the momentum ofthe solution are well preserved by the numerical scheme,while the variation of the energy is not negligiblenumerically. Experiments suggest that beyond the critical time for theEuler equation, Grenier's approach yields smooth but highlyoscillatory terms.

Semiclassical limits of generic multi-parameter quantized coordinate rings A=q(kn) of affine spaces are constructed and related to A, for k an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero and q a multiplicatively antisymmetric matrix whose entries generate a torsion-free subgroup of k×. A semiclassical limit of A is a Poisson algebra structure on the corresponding classical coordinate ring R=(kn), and results of Oh, Park, Shin and the authors are used to construct homeomorphisms from the Poisson-prime and Poisson-primitive spectra of R onto the prime and primitive spectra of~A. The Poisson-primitive spectrum of R is then identified with the space of symplectic cores in kn in the sense of Brown and Gordon, and an example is presented (over ℂ) for which the Poisson-primitive spectrum of R is not homeomorphic to the space of symplectic leaves in kn. Finally, these results are extended from quantum affine spaces to quantum affine toric varieties.
