The Journal of Fluid Mechanics is extremely grateful to the work of the fluid mechanics community in reviewing papers. The quality of the reviewing for JFM is key to ensuring the quality of the journal and the long-lasting impact of the published research.

To recognise the work of our community, annually JFM will honour the top 1% of reviewers by naming our ‘Outstanding Reviewers’. These reviewers will be decided by an assessment of timeliness and quality,  discussion with the Editorial Board and a final committee selection.

Outstanding reviewers will be announced in an Editorial and on the JFM website and will receive a CUP Book Voucher.

2023: The first 50 Outstanding Reviewers. Announced October 2024.
