Forum of Mathematics, Pi are seeking a Managing Editor, who would like the opportunity to be directly involved in shaping the editorial direction of the journals and their publishing processes.

The Managing Editor is a subject expert in one of the fields covered by Forum and had responsibility for the content published in the journals and for their management. The Managing Editor is supported in the role by subject expert who assist in the handling of the peer review, with operational support from the Cambridge peer review administrator and wider editorial team.

The Managing Editor is a key part of the journal’s editorial team, and as such also acts as advocate for Forum.

Applicants should have a strong academic record in the field, and some editorial experience, including experience of publishing in journals, the peer-review process, and use of peer-review systems.

The Managing Editor is to start in the role next year.
