Timothy Lyons is a Distinguished Professor of Biogeochemistry in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of California, Riverside. He is a leading expert in the use of geochemical tracers for applications in astrobiology, geobiology and Earth history. Professor Lyons leads the ‘Alternative Earths’ team of the NASA Astrobiology Institute and the Alternative Earths Astrobiology Center at UC Riverside.
Alexandra Turchyn is a University Reader in Biogeochemistry in the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Cambridge. Her primary research interests are in isotope geochemistry and the application of geochemical systems to interrogate modern and past environments.
Chris Reinhard is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His research focuses on biogeochemistry and paleoclimatology, and he is an Institutional PI on the ‘Alternative Earths’ team of the NASA Astrobiology Institute.
