It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of the Revd. Dr. David Efird on 9 January 2020. He was a respected scholar of the philosophy of religion and analytic theology, teaching at the University of York since 2002. He served terms at Religious Studies as Assistant Editor in 2016–7 and as Co-Editor in 2017–8. He was also an Ordinary Member of the committee of the British Society for the Philosophy of Religion from 2011 through 2014. He was reappointed to the same post only in September 2019. He founded the Society for Christian Philosophers (UK region) in 2018 and played an important role in linking Christian philosophers in the UK and the US. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
