The co-Editors in Chief have been alerted to concerns over missing attribution of text in this article. In particular, overlap has been identified with the Spanish-language version of Dr. Toya Solís Marquínez's thesis Academic music production during the Spanish transition into democracy (1975-1982): Debates, politics and outcomes (2020). Furthermore, the conceptual framing of several arguments in this article have extensive similarity to those presented in the thesis. The editors are therefore issuing this Expression of Concern whilst an investigation into this matter is ongoing.
