The L. Alan Winters Prize

L. Alan Winters Prize

Since 2023 the World Trade Review has annually honored outstanding contributions by young and upcoming scholars through the L. Alan Winters Prize.

The prize is awarded every year to an early to mid-career author or a team of authors for the best contribution published in the WTR. Authors or teams of authors who are PhD students or who obtained a PhD in the past 8 years are eligible for the prize. Inter- and multidisciplinary scholarship will receive special consideration. The Editors select 3 papers published within a calendar year and the WTR Board select the winner.

When submitting the paper through Manuscript Central, authors should let us know if they are eligible to be considered for the prize.  Prize winners will receive £300 of Cambridge University Press books.
