WTR Special Issues
WTR welcomes proposals for special issues. We intend to publish at least one special issue a year and will give preference to proposals for special issues of papers presented at inter- or transdisciplinary workshops or conferences.
Submission deadlines
The Editors accept proposals for consideration on a rolling basis - there is no specific deadline. A proposal should contain the following information:
- The theme of the proposed special issue.
- The name, address, and position of the proposed Guest Editor(s) with a short bio.
- A description (max. 1200 words) for the rationale of the special issue, its contribution in relation to existing work and debates in the field of trade and investment.
- The names and short bio (max. 100 words) for authors and an abstract (max. 200 words) of the content of each individual paper highlighting its theoretical/conceptual or empirical contribution.
- Special issues should include 6-8 research papers and an introduction. The papers will be submitted to peer review and may not all be accepted.
- Detailed timetable from acceptance of the proposal until submission of the papers (maximum should be 6 months).
- The maximum length of each paper is max. 12,000.
Proposals are to be sent to email: [email protected]
Special issues are managed by the Guest Editor(s), via the ScholarOne online submission and review system used by WTR, subject to general support and guidance by the Editors of WTR. The review process is the same as for regular WTR research articles with at least two referees per paper.
