Mala Htun (August 23, 1969 - January 24, 2025)

A Distinguished Professor of Political Science at the University of New Mexico, Mala Htun made a major impact on the study of women, gender, and politics as a scholar, teacher, mentor, and advocate. 

To honor her contributions, we have ungated access to her articles in Politics & Gender until the end of February 2025.
