Crescentovitus biloculus gen.nov., sp.nov., a fish cestode (Caryophyllaeidae) from Nagpur, India

Extract

A list of the genera of the family Caryophyllaeidae known from India is given. Crescentovitus biloculus gen.nov., sp.nov. from the coelom of the siluroid fish, Heteropneustis fossilis, is described and its systematic position discussed. An up-to-date key to the genera of the subfamily Lytocestinae is included.
