Five new species of Myxosporidia from marine fishes

Extract

Five new species of Myxosporidia are described and figured. They are: Ceratomyxa auerbachi, Davisia longibrachia, Myxidium laticurvum, Parvicapsula unicornis and Sphaerospora irregularis. The first two are parasitic in the gall-bladders, while the remaining three in the urinary bladders of various teleosts in the North Sea.
