The distribution of cimicidae (Hemiptera) in the Anglo-Egyptian Sudan

Extract

1. The distribution of Cimex hemipterus and C. lectularius in the Sudan is described. Leptocimex boueti has been found in two localities.

2. Reasons for the distribution of the two species of bed-bug are discussed, and it is considered likely that facilities for dispersal and atmospheric humidity may have been the most important factors.
