The evaluation of the basic confluent hypergeometric functions

Abstract

This paper contains all those formulae which are necessary for the numerical evaluation of the basic confluent hypergeometric functions, including asymptotic formulae, and three skeleton tables which can be used as a basis for the study of the numerical behaviour of these functions over a wide field.
