Takashi Inoguchi (1944-2024)
The editorial team of the Japanese Journal of Political Science expresses its deepest condolences to the family of Takashi Inoguchi (1944-2024), founder and longtime Editor-in-Chief of the JJPS. In addition to pioneering research that greatly advanced our understanding of Japanese politics, Professor Inoguchi was an active institution-builder who founded important journals, including the JJPS, which have come to serve as important outlets for cutting-edge work in the field of political science.
