Congress
The second Congress of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) was held in Geneva from April 14 to May 13, 1955, under the presidency of Dr. F. W. Reichelderfer. Delegates from 83 member states and five non-member states, as well as representatives of several other specialized agencies attended the Congress. The Congress heard reports of the President of WMO, its Secretary- General and the Presidents of the constituent bodies; other agenda items were referred to the Technical Program Committee, the Administrative and Financial I Committee, and the Legal Committee.
