International Organization (IO) is a leading peer-reviewed journal that covers the entire field of international affairs. IO features articles that propose generalizable theories, improve social scientific knowledge, and/or offer new empirical insights on the broad range of subjects that constitute international relations and global politics.

International Organization will be on winter break from 20 December, 2024 through 2 January, 2025. Manuscripts submitted after 19 December, 2024 will be processed beginning on 3 January, 2025.

The Robert O. Keohane award

The Robert O. Keohane award acknowledges Keohane's years of service to IO and his support of junior scholars. The award is presented annually, usually in September, to the best research article in IO published by an untenured scholar (or scholars) in the previous calendar year.
