All submissions including symposia pieces will go through an initial screening from the journal Editorial Board. Submissions selected to proceed to peer review will follow a double-anonymous peer review, process involving at least one peer reviewer who is external to the journal’s Editorial and Advisory Boards. Both author and reviewer identities are concealed from each other throughout the review process unless a reviewer decides to formally sign a review. ‘Books and classics ’pieces will be reviewed by members of the editorial team.
The full list of peer reviewers will publish in the final issue of every second volume to acknowledge their valuable support of the journal, subject to prior agreement of reviewers.
To appeal an editorial decision, contact one of the Managing Editors and specify the reason for your appeal. Your appeal will be reviewed by an editor who did not review the manuscript. The final decision regarding your appeal will rest with this editor.
