Book and media reviews are assigned by the Reviews Editor, Stacey Prickett ([email protected]), but individuals wishing to review a particular book may submit an inquiry to the Reviews Editor. Reviews in the current issue are the best guide to correct format. The heading should include name of author(s) or editor(s), book title (italicized), place of publication, name of publisher, year of publication, number of pages, number of illustrations, cloth or paper bound, and price; ISBN; doi. Reviews should be scholarly in orientation and approximately 1,200–1,500 words. The reviewer should provide their name and affiliation at the end of the review. If the reviewer cites an author’s work that is not discussed in the book or media under review, it must be cited in full in a separate reference section (referred to as Works Cited in DRJ).
