In a previous paper (2) we have developed a spectral theory and a unitary equivalence theory for a certain class of non-normal operators. We dealt primarily with operators which were called J2 operators. At present we are interested in studying the uniformly closed rings generated by such operators.

The notation will be the same as in (2).
