The Mallophaga listed were collected from birds and mammals in various parts of Oklahoma as indicated. Included in the records of the material collected by the author during the past three years are numerous records from material furnished by various students in the Entomology Department of Oklahoma A. and M. College. Previous records of lice taken from hosts in this state are very few, although there are numerous papers on species of this group found on birds and mammals of the states north and east of Oklahoma.
