Quo die dominus decanus monuit prefatos magistros Nicholum Harrison Robertum Johnson Robertum Randall Willelmum Winch Johannem Guye Willelmum Chaundler Thomam Hooke et Willelmum Alridge ministros antedictos, that hereafter they duly instruct the youth of their severall parrishes every Sunday in the afternoone in the fundamentall poynts of religion after a catecheticall way.
And that they doe their best to informe theire churchwardens of all such of their parrishioners as absent themselves from there owne parrish churches either at morning or evening prayers on Sundayes and holy dayes and cause them to bee presented.
Ac etiam monuit prefactos Johannem Wilcher Henricum Clarke Johannem Butcher Johannem Ansell Danielem Marton Richardum Mihell Richardum Mosse Robertum Knowler nomas [sic] Sandham Robertum Haseler et Johannem Longhurst gordianos predictos that from henceforth they diligently inquire and take notice of all such of their severall parrishioners as shall absent themselves from their owne parrish churches at morning or evening prayers on Sundayes or holy dayes and duly and truely present all such as they shall finde offending therein sub pena iuris.

Quibus die et loco dominus decanus antedictus prefatis magistris Roberto Johnson Thome Hooke Johanni Payne Willelmo Speed Johanni Taylor Johanni Guye Willelmo Winch Willelmo Chaundler et Roberto Randall et eorum cuilibet sic (ut prefertur) citatis et personaliter comparentibus stricte et peremptorie iniunxit that they and every of them from henceforth shall and doe duly and diligendy catechise the youth of their severall parrishes every Sunday half an houre before evening prayers by questyon and answere in the playnest manner according to the catechisme set downe in the booke of common prayer. And as by the cannon they are enioyned. And hee allsoe advised them that for the more orderly discharging of this duty they the said ministers require of every housholder within theire severall parrishes a note of the names of all their children and servants.
