Solet observari ut postquam ingressi fuerint inferiorem domum in sedibus se decenter collocent. Et si aliqui ex eis sint consiliarii sive sacellani regiae maiestatis ut hi superiores sedes occupent, atque ut unus ex eis propter dignitatem et reverentiam, seu in eorum absentia decanus ecclesiae cathedralis Divi Pauli Londoniarum, sive archidiaconus Londoniensis, praesidentis offlcio in huiusmodi electione fungatur. Atque ut ad hoc rite procedatur, primum iubeat nomina omnium citatorum et qui tune interesse tenentur, a clerico dictae inferioris domus recitari et praeconizari. Notatisque absentibus, alloquatur praesentes atque eorum sententiam de idoneo prolocutore eligendo sciscitetur. Et postquam [6] de eo convenerint (quod semper quasi statim et absque ullo negotio perfici solebat) mox conveniant inter se de duobus eminentioris ordinis, qui dictum electum reverendissimo domino Cantuariensi in die statuto debita cleri reverentia et solemnitate praesentent. Quorum alter, sicut cum dies advenerit ipsum prolocutorem cum Latina et docta oratione praesentare tenetur, sic etiam idem praesentatus habitum doctoratus indutus consi—lem orationem ad dictum reverendissimum patrem ac praelatos et ceteros praesentes habere debet. Quibus finitis praefatus reverendissimus oratione Latina tarn electores quam praesentatores et praesentatum pro sua gratia collaudare, ac domum ipsam electionem sua archiepiscopali auctoritate confirmare et approbare non dedignabitur. Et statim idem reverendissimus Anglice (si placet) exponere solet ulteriorem beneplacitum suum hortandum clerum ut de rebus communibus quae reformatione indigeant consutent et refereant die statuto, ac ad hunc [7] modum de sessione in sessionem continuabitur convocatio, quamdiu expedire videbitur, ac donee de eadem dissolvenda breve regium eidem reverendissimo praesentetur.

Et secundum est quod quotiescunque prolocutor ad praesentiam reverendissimi causa convocationis ac tempore sessionis accesserit, utatur habitu praedicto, ac ianitor sive virgifer dictae inferioris domus ipsum reverenter antecedat.

Eiusdem prolocutoris est etiam monere omnes ne discedant civitate London, absque licentia reverendissimi, quodque statutis diebus tempestive veniant ad convocationem. Quodque salaria clericorum tarn superioris quam inferioris domus et ianitoris inferioris domus iuxta antiquam taxationem quatenus eorum quemlibet consuevit fideliter persolvant.
