[12r] Convocatio praelatorum et cleri Cantuariensis provinciae facta per reverendissimum in Christo patrem et dominum Dominum Thomam, Dei gratia Cantuariensem archiepiscopum, totius Angliae primatem et apostolicae sedis legatum, in ecclesia Sancti Pauli Londoniarum, sexto die mensis Maii anno Domini MCCCCLXmo, indictione octava, pontificatus sanctissimi in Christo patris et domini nostri, Domini Pii divina providentia papae secundi,
anno secundo inchoata, et usque ad et in decimum septimum diem mensis [Iunii] extunc proximo sequentem de diebus in dies continuata.

Sequitur primo tenor commissionis reverendo in Christo patri Thomae, Dei gratia Londoniensi episcopo, ad convocandum ceteros praelatos et clerum Cantuariensis provinciae per dictum reverendum in Christo patrem in hac parte:
Thomas, miseratione divina archiepiscopus Cantuariensis, totius Angliae primas et apostolicae sedis legatus, venerabili confratri nostro Domino Thomae, Dei gratia Londoniensi episcopo, salutem et fraternae dilectionis continuum incrementum. Literas domini nostri regis sub privato sigillo suo sigillato nuper recepimus in haec verba:
Henricus, Dei gratia rex Angliae et Franciae et Dominus Hiberniae venerabili in Christo patri Iohanni, eadem gratia archiepiscopo Cantuariensi, totius Angliae primati, salutem. Quibusdam arduis et urgentibus negotiis nos, statum regni nostri ac honorem [et] utilitatem Ecclesiae Anglicanae intime concernentibus, vobis in fide et dilectione quibus nobis tenemini rogando mandamus, quatenus praemissis debito intuitu attentis et ponderatis, universos et singulos episcopos vestrae provinciae, ac decanos et priores ecclesiarum cathedralium, abbates et priores, et alios electivos, exemptos et non exemptos, necnon archidiaconos, capitula, conventus et collegia, totumque clerum cuiuslibet diocesis eiusdem provinciae, ad comparendum coram vobis in ecclesia [cathedrali] Sancti Pauli Londoniarum, vel alibi, prout melius expediri videritis, cum omni celeritate commoda, more debito, convocari faciatis, ad tractandum, consentiendum et concludendum super praemissis et aliis quae sibi clarius exponentur tune ibidem ex parte nostra, et hoc sicut nos et statum regni nostri praedicti diligitis, nullatenus omittatis. Teste meipso apud Westmonasterium, duodecimo die Februarii anno regni nostri tricesimo octavo [12 February 1460].
Quocirca fraternitati vestrae committimus et mandamus quatenus omnes et singulos coepiscopos et suffraganeos nostros ac electos si qui sint in nostra Cantuariensi provincia constitutes, ac absentium huiusmodi coepiscoporum si qui fuerint vicarios in spiritualibus generates citetis peremptorie, et per eos decanos et priores ecclesiarum cathedralium ac singula capitula earundem, archidiaconosque abbates et priores conventus sub se habentes, et alios ecclesiae praelatos,
