Summary

A 35-year-old gravida 4 para 3 with a surgical history of three prior cesarean deliveries presents for a routine anatomy ultrasound. Evaluation of the placenta reveals abnormalities concerning for placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorder. This case highlights the importance of early detection and risk assessment for PAS, along with the need for specialized counseling, delivery planning with a multidisciplinary team, and consideration of a variety of surgical methods to optimize maternal and neonatal outcomes in PAS cases.
