Summary

The following text is based chiefly on PMH with some modifications and additions based on PMC. Italics mark emendations. Abbreviations, including the Tironian sign, are expanded without notice, while Roman numerals are retained as they are in the manuscript. The overall layout, word division, capitalisation and punctuation follow modern convention.
