Summary
Here, life in the Nile valley is further explored through the development of agriculture and farming practices as climate changes saw the creation of fertile floodplains. Indigenous farmers learnt how to harness the flood cycle of the Nile and the growth in importance of Hierakonpolis as the deserts dried up and people migrated to the valley.
