Dear Ford:—

I wrote to Scribners as soon as your letter came and no doubt you have heard from them.

Dos Passos is out here and we go to Piggott Ark., to rejoin my family, this week— Will you be getting out that far west? I should always love to see you— Have been working well and am in very good health— Wonderful shooting—2 bear, wapiti bull, Mt. Sheep ram other edible beasts.
