Summary

In reading this book, we have been encouraged to reflect on empirical evidence that suggests that “good language teaching” is a multidimensional process, shaped by both qualities and behaviors; effective teaching involves knowledge, beliefs, and attitudes that inform behavior, choices, and decisions. The sheer variety of topics covered in this book reflects the conclusion one draws in reading it – that good language teaching is about managing diversity on a number of different levels.
