Medical recipe for oil of edera (ivy). The words ‘comeþ of cold’ are visible on the line above (and further to the left); see Müller 37, ‘it helpyth þe gowte aretyk þat comyth of colde.’ The last line appears to have been at the bottom margin of the original leaf. The bottom and part of the right edge of the leaf show stains from the leather foldovers of a binding, which obscure the text (hence the ellipses above) and indicate that the leaf was used as a pastedown.
Other texts: see IMEP 10, Stockholm Royal Library X.90 [1], where it is one element in a collection of recipes (ed. Müller, pp. 37, 45).
