Introduction
This chapter deals with the relevance of environmental factors to three concepts that are pertinent to more than one area of EU competition law. These are: (1) the definition of an undertaking; (2) market definition; and (3) effect on inter-State trade.
Relevance of environmental concerns to the definition of an undertaking
A first potential issue is whether environmental concerns can be relevant to the definition of an undertaking within the meaning of Articles 101 and 102 TFEU.
