The names of the Friars Minor of Babwell admitted by William Curteys, abbot of St Edmunds, to hear the confessions of parishioners of the town of Bury, whose presentation was made to the same abbot and licence sought by grace of the foregoing by Thomas Bury, warden of the said Friars Minor in the principal chamber of the aforesaid abbot in his palace at Bury, according to the decree of Henry, bishop of Winchester against the same Friars Minor, on the ninth day of the month of March in the year of Our Lord fourteen hundred and thirty-eight: that is to say Thomas Bury, Richard Donnham, Thomas Curteys and Roger Thetford.
