This chapter studies applications of the methods developed in the previous chapters. In particular we present techniques for obtaining growth bounds on higher order Sobolev norms, proving almost everywhere convergence of the solution to the initial data, and establishing the existence and regularity properties of global attractors for dissipative and dispersive PDEs. Finally we prove rigorously the nonlinear Talbot effect for certain model equations.
