Note. This rate was written on two sheets of paper folded to make pages of 5¾ inches in width by 15½ inches in length. The cover recorded ‘Evan Whiller his Writing’.
Tunstall A Rate for the poore of that pishe made by the Churchwardens and Overseers there according to the forme of a Statute in that behalf for one yeares payment that is from the 25th daye of March last in the year of our Lord 1610 Quarterly to levyed and gathered.

Note: This rate is included within the overseers of the poor account. It was written on two pieces of paper, which have been stitched to make up four pages which measure 6 inches by 16 inches. The account includes two pages of expenditure including to Jane Betts, John Galsworthy, ‘Irish Katherine’, ‘the blind boy’, Widow Veale, John Deever, Elizabeth Cosen, ‘old Mother Maye’ and ‘old Mother Veale’ for a cape, shoes, stockings and cloth.
Tounstall A rate for the Poore of that Parrishe made by the ChurchWardens and Overseers there according to the forme of a Statute in that behalf for one yeares payment That is from the 25th daye of Marche last in the year of our Lord 1611 quarterly to be levyed and gathered by Nicholas Skynner and Ralphe Cooke Collectors
