Summary

No finality is claimed for the following itinerary. For the sake of brevity, only the outside dates of Orleton's stay in a particular place during any one month have been given. For the most part the details noted are intended to illustrate the text rather than to provide a full account of the bishop's activities or a complete list of the meetings of parliament or provincial council. References to Orleton's Hereford register are given by folio number, where the printed edition is defective. His Worcester register is cited by the number of the entry in the forthcoming calendar, the Winchester one by volume and folio number.
