Summary

“Beloved, I Wish Above All Things That You May Prosper and Be In Health” The desire for others to enjoy good health reflected in the Apostle John’s wish for his friend Gaius is one that Christians have embraced since New Testament times. Christ instructed his disciples to “heal the sick … freely you have received; freely give.” The vast networks of religiously affiliated hospitals in countries across the globe exemplify one way Christians seek to follow this command.
