<i>Urban Archaeological Pasts</i> explores the archaeology and ancient history of urban societies across the world. It reflects the new methods and approaches that are advancing the detail and scope of knowledge of ancient cities. Books in this series include theoretical statements proposing new conceptual agendas, regional syntheses exploring new perspectives, and comparative accounts. The series is published in collaboration with the Centre for Urban Network Evolutions (UrbNet) at Aarhus University, Denmark.
