The TV and… series explores the full range of television genres and forms, especially the less examined but hugely popular genres such as children's television, documentary, reality TV and comedy on mainstream channels and digital platforms. The series offers a model for the analysis of television texts but always in relation to key issues and debates that surround the topic of choice. As such the series is designed to be accessible and student friendly - offering models of analysis and case studies that could be used in teaching whilst engaging with cutting edge debates and critical thought that can speak to the 'present tense' of television.
