In this article, certain taxonomic designations used are incorrect. The local hares are not desert hares (Lepus capensis) as stated. The correct taxonomic designation is instead Lepus tolai, with the common name of hare. Gallus sp. is also incorrectly used to describe a pheasant. The correct family designation is Phasianidae.
