In this Conservation News item, the text was incorrect with respect to the name of one of the counties that Manis javanica is native to. In China M. javanica is native only in Menglian and Mengla (not Menghai) counties, Yunnan Province.

In addition, the name of one author was incorrectly given as Yishuang Wang; this has now been corrected to Yishuang Yu.
