Adriana Soto-Corominas's presentation clearly and coherently described her original research, demonstrating that early second-language acquisition must be distinguished from simultaneous bilingual acquisition. Her answers to questions displayed a solid grasp of the relevant literature and methodological considerations and the consequences of her findings. Her enthusiasm for her research was especially engaging.

Majed Al-Solami's poster was clearly presented, making effective use of maps and figures, and he did an excellent job answering questions and interacting with his audience. The research was well motivated, and his analysis was easy to follow without being simplified. His use of geography and migration history to support the analysis was particularly compelling.
