In this issue, an article by Korb et al (pp. 139–145) looks at the current evidence base for sleep disorders in adults with an intellectual disability, discusses collaborative working between intellectual disabilities psychiatrists and sleep medicine specialists to manage sleep disorders, and provides recommendations for future directions.
