In the review by Megaw, the author who maintains he has a history of not knowing his left from his right, wishes to correct the error that describes ‘some flavour of Charles's political views, part old-fashioned Tory, part West Country Liberal, and well to the left of his second wife, the writer and broadcaster Jessica Mann’. The corrected wording is as follows: ‘I miss too some flavour of Charles's political views, part old-fashioned Tory, part West Country Liberal, and well to the right [emphasis added] of his second wife's, the writer and broadcaster Jessica Mann.’
