Abstract

We present, in this paper, a study of the thermomechanical behaviour of a single crystal in transformation plasticity using Taylor's approach, and we neglect the internal stress associated to the interactions between martensitic variants. We represent those interactions by a matrix deduced from a thermodynamical potential's optimization associated to the transformation. We also point out the contribution of the variant's reorientation mechanism to the thermomechanical behaviour.
