Volume 221 - Issue 5 - November 2022
Andy Harper / Bethlem Mother and Baby Unit /ADL Kitchen / 2021
Following on from a highly successful workshop drawing plant forms in Indian ink, which almost every member of staff at the MBU attended, Andy Harper created a painting for the Activities of Daily Life Kitchen that celebrates the multitude of forms and structures to be found in nature and the ability to replicate these in paint using a variety of marks and brush strokes. His painting spans one wall of the kitchen, filling the room with colour and nature and connecting the indoors with the beautiful, verdant grounds of Bethlem Royal Hospital.
