Oxypertine (also known as Win. 18,501–2) is a member of a series of alkyl indolyl-4-phenyl piperazines (Archer et al., 1962), and is 1-[2-(5,6 -Dimethoxy-2-methyl-3-indolyl) ethyl]-4-phenylpiperazine.
