Venus cloud contrasts

Contrast of the Venus cloud patterns is measured by photoelectric scans using a sequence of narrow-band interference filters. The contrast appears constant in the range 3100–3600 Å, drops to the limit of detectability at about 4100 Å, and is absent at longer wavelengths.
