Numerical Modelling of the Reflection Spectrum of Venus in the Visual and Near Infrared Ranges

The influence of a dense molecular atmosphere under a cloud layer on spectral albedo of a planet is investigated. The lengths of paths of protons in the clouds are calculated. Experimental spectral transmission functions were used to calculate gas absorption. The results are compared with experimental data.
