The medium sensitivity survey and the X-ray selected quasar sample

We find that the inconsistencies discussed by many authors between the expected and observed number of X-ray selected quasars cannot be attributed to incompleteness of the Medium Sensitivity Survey (MSS). We are presently expanding the survey, this effort will produce a very large sample of X-ray selected quasars. Preliminary results are presented.
