We recognize the theoretical objections and strong assumptions in bioastronomy against the feasibility of non-carbon based life (NCBL). Yet, we make a long-term commitment to testing these assumptions by parameterization of a wide range of NCBL characteristics using General Morphology, direct lab tests of giant planet gasses and energy sources at extreme temperatures and pressures for spontaneous NCBL subunit formation, and development of a range of instruments for lab and remote sensing of putative NCBL complex macromolecules.
